My current curatorial practice aims to explore urban landscape representations in narrative cinema, documentary and experimental film.

My purpose is to question two concepts, "film programming" and "curating". These two terms have recently found a point of convergence.

By highlighting this convergence in the broader context that is contemporary art, my research project focuses on the important roles that urban landscapes play in the medium of the moving image.

The cinematic screening of the City is a key element in film, for it deepens their interpretation and raises new questions regarding society itself. An example is Deux ou trois choses que je sais d'elle (Jean Luc Godard, 1967) portrait of a city, Paris, becoming a metropolis, under the pressure of a new capitalistic society.

With my project, I intend to create a film screening programme reflecting these urban landscape representations of different cities.
