Linda's practice has continuously been concerned with the exploration and perception of natural phenomena, most recently using forests or the idea of "the wilderness" as a source. The possibility of discovering somewhere new has all but disappeared and this realization has amplified romantic associations with the remaining uninhabited, uncultivated areas. Environmental concerns have also highlighted the need for the preservation of these sites, recalling romantic notions of experiencing sublime beauty in untouched nature. Linda has recent begun to extend beyond the medium of paint to realize these explorations, and is working with drawing, photography and film. Linda completed the MA in Visual Arts Practices in 2008.
