Orla Whelan is an Irish artist who lives and works in Dublin. Recent solo exhibitions include ‘We Live to See Each Other’ at thisisnotashop and ‘Outside’ at The Return, Goethe Instituit in 2007. She has participated in group exhibitions in Ireland and abroad, and has received awards and residencies. She holds a BA Fine Art from NCAD, an MA European Fine Art from Winchester School of Art as well as an MA in Visual Arts Practices from IADT. She is currently undertaking a studio residency at Draoicht, Blanchardstown until June 2008. Orla is a member of the artists collective Jeco Sword.
