Each year new learning opportunities are explored through international study trips. In 2011, during the first semester MAVIS visited galleries, museums and artist run spaces in Paris, and during the second semester two research visits were conducted at the Venice Biennale, Italy and Pacific Standard Time exhibitions in Los Angeles.
